Hajah Ramintan Samingon
Srikandi Hajah Ramintan Samingon is the last living Srikandi (lady warrior) of the Harimau Berantai Clan. She is a legendary healer and respected Silat Mahaguru hails from Johor Malaysia. She is Prof Jak Othman’s aunt, and was responsible for personally training and grooms him to what he is today.
In addition to the empty hand methods and mastering the main Silat warriors’ weapons like the Keris, Sundang, Sao ( tekpi), sarong and buluh runcing (sharp bamboo ), she taught Jak the Srikandi weapons. These fighting methods included the Rafil (kerambit), kapak kecil (small axe), belati (knife), bukulima (knuckle duster) and pancawangan sakti (bladed tonfa). Many of these weapons are unique to Harimau Berantai.
After more than 10 years of grooming the Prof to Pendita (Professor) level of Harimau Berantai, in July 2018 she officially passed her Mahaguru title to him. This officially makes Prof Jak Othman the present Mahaguru of Harimau Berantai Silat International.

Professor Jak Othman is a modern day Silat Legend trained and groomed to the highest level by Silat Mahaguru @Legends from the source. He is a world authority in Silat the Malay Martial arts. He heads the Martial Arts science faculty at the Institute of Physical Science, Culture and Arts Malaysia. He is member of Malaysia’s Martial Arts Hall of Fame, the founder and chief instructor of Harimau Berantai Silat International, Gayong Harimau Silat International and Silat Tomoi Raja Rimau International.
Jak Othman Kickboxing & Martial Arts Studio at Subang Jaya Malaysia is the headquarters of these international martial arts organizations. He travels the world promoting all three styles in Apprentice Compact Courses and Open Seminars under one platform, Harimau Berantai Silat International.
Harimau Berantai Silat is his family style and he is the Mahaguru of the system when the last Mahaguru Srikandi Hajah Ramintan passed the title to him in a special ceremony in July 2018. He was previously the Pendita (Professor) of the system. He is also a Grandmaster in both Gayong Harimau and Tomoi Raja Rimau Silat.
Today, Harimau Berantai is of the fasting growing Silat System in the USA and it is gaining popularity internationally too. Harimau Berantai USA, Harimau Berantai UK, Harimau Berantai Italia and Harimau berantai Netherlands are spearheading the system internationally and more potential reps from other countries are looking to join the clan.
