Jurlatih means instructor, but it is not 

a title given to just anyone. It is a title reserved for those that show interest in spreading Harimau Berantai Silat and are approved to do so by Harimau Berantai HQ. 

This title is awarded to those that have been chosen to be representatives of Harimau Berantai Silat and have completed Phase 2. One must also still be actively teaching Harimau Berantai to maintain this title. 

Guru is a special title given to those that have dedicated years of training in Harimau Berantai Silat and have completed Phase 4. They also have to be actively teaching and developing a new generation of practitioners

Pendekar is the highest level of practitioner as a non-head of a training linage. This title can only be awarded by the board of Harimau Berantai Elders. One is eligible for this title only after 20 years of loyalty and dedication to they teaching and growth of Harimau Berantai.
